Description
Black, white and green peppercorns are the fruit of the same flowering vine, native to india, picked and dried at different times to give each a unique flavour. Pink are not a true peppercorn, but are the berry of a tree in the cashew family. Black peppercorns are bold and pungent, white are hot and sharp, green adds freshness and pink gives a spicy-sweet floral flavour. Combined they are an attractive coloured garnish and a well balanced pepper blend, more delicate and complex than black pepper alone, for connoisseurs of fresh pepper.
